Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Maiife website (maiife.ai), open-source toolkit, or platform services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Maiife provides an enterprise AI control plane that includes a multi-vendor gateway, policy engine, audit trail, team scorecards, artifact registry, and open-source developer toolkit. Some features require a paid subscription.

3. Accounts & Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at contact@maiife.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any proprietary component of the Service (open-source components are governed by their respective licences).
• Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without prior written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, and proprietary code, is owned by Maiife. Open-source components published under the@maiife-ai-pubnpm scope are licensed under the MIT Licence unless otherwise stated. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service.

6. Subscriptions & Payment

• Paid plans are billed monthly. Pricing is listed on our website and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
• A 30-day evaluation period is included at no charge. No credit card is required to start.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Enterprise plans include a 99.9% uptime SLA as specified in the Enterprise agreement. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that Maiife may process your data as described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maiife shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
